We have to get going early and get CC some run support.  If he gets the lead he may settle down and go to work!

Scouting Report:
Joe Blanton, RHP (0-2, 3.44)
A's: Blanton dominated for six innings against the Indians on Sunday at McAfee Coliseum, but once again, he came away with a loss. Blanton, who went 6 2/3 innings, allowing just two runs on seven hits while striking out two, issued four walks in the game, including one with the bases loaded in the seventh. The righty used a heavy fastball and solid breaking pitch to keep the Indians' hitters at bay. In seven career starts against the Jays, Blanton is 4-2 with a 3.12 ERA.

C.C. Sabathia, LHP (0-1, 7.59)
Indians: Sabathia's struggles in his hometown of Oakland continued Saturday. He lasted just 5 1/3 innings against the A's, surrendering four runs on six hits with four walks and two strikeouts. It was an uphill battle for Sabathia all afternoon, as he struggled to get ahead in the count. He hopes to have better luck in his other "home" at Progressive Field, as the reigning Cy Young Award winner has been slow to get into the flow of the regular season.

First Fireworks night of the year! I am thinking of making the trip there and getting bleacher seats! Let you know later!

This is going to be all Tribe tonight. I'm predicting the final score to be 8-1 Indians.

Looking forward to it.

I'm hoping Sowers has a great good outing.   Looks like we're going to need him soon.
