Posting this after the fact - this was one of the most collossoally boring games I've ever watched. Whenever the score is 1-0 you got a boring game (well, unless someone throws a perfect game or something).
CC did a great job, going the distance for a complete game shutout. He didn't get much run support, but he didn't need it. The win against Minnesota moves us up on the food chain, especially considering that Chicago lost to Detroit today.
Good things for us. Hope we can keep it up.
I like to see a complete game shutout, but it's scary to only score 1 run, as unproductive as our hitting has been it makes me feel like our hitting is going flat again.
Hope not.
