Starting Pitchers

Jeremy Gutherie 3-7 3.71 ERA

Chad Durbin 2-1 1.67 ERA

Bartolo Colon 4-1 3.31 ERA

Kevin Millwood 4-3 4.91 ERA

Cant really find a fifth starter so I'll say minor leaguer Sean Smith we traded to Colorado who might pitch sometime for them this year

The Bullpen

Julian Taverez 0-1 5.79 ERA

Andrew Brown 0-0 2.05 ERA

Keith Foulke 0-1 2.95 ERA 1 save (would probably be closer)

Arthur Rhodes 2-0 5.06 ERA

David Weathers 2-4 4.24 ERA

Alan Embree 1-2 3.90 ERA

Okay so I just used mostly reject players and ones that were and some don't fall in either category but I put them in b/c well I needed to fill space... I didnt use the obvious Thome, Vizquel, and Ramirez b/c thats pointless they all left on their own terms and were already superstars..... let me know if you can think of any body else thats performing and could be added.

I wonder if this tells us a little something about the Indians brain trust. The hitters I listed are mostly young and are playing really good and we given up on by the Tribe but the pitching I had to go back and list a few old guys to put the pitching staff together... I would deffinitley prefer the pitchers we have now then the ones I listed. So maybe the Indians braintrust has trouble identifying offensive talent but is really sharp when it comes to pitching

I changed the name of my username b/c I'm afraid it was jinxing the real Jeremy Sowers so I'm trying this out for a while and see if his luck can improve.

I'm starting to think the indians brain trust is having a lapse of solvency; I think the bank is open but there's nothign on deposit right now. big grin
